In Defense of Animals Organization (IDA): This highly animal rights organization recently awarded Pet Stop its highly regarded “Companion Animal Guardian Award” at the Natural Pet Fair for our work in protecting the rights of dogs and cats through food donation, public awareness education and our working in assistance with numerous animal rescue organizations.
Pet Stop is recognized by Neighboorhood Cats for its help and contributions.
Neighborhood Cats: This “Trap, Neuter and Return” organization working in coordination with the Mayor’s Alliance the ASPCA and The Center for Animal Care and Control has recognized and thanked Pet Stop in a news conference for it’s food donations to the feral cat colonies at the Fresh Kills land fill on Staten Island.

Since the year 2000, Pet Stop has donated over 12,000 pounds of cat and dog food and other necessities to various animal shelters, rescue organizations. Our efforts helped organize the mobilization to send food and emergency supplies to the rescue dogs that worked tirelessly to save lives from the rubble of the September 11th terrorism attack on our country.

When Resident Publications, a 165,000 weekly citywide in building circulation holds an annual write in “Vote for Best Retail and Service Businesses”. Pet Stop was named Best Pet Supply Store in New York City for three years running. There were approximately 100-150 different categories to vote for and 90% of these categories had one winner and at least one runner up. Pet Stop stood alone for three years with no competition in this category.
